Just a few weeks after the company unveiled its new super-coupe at the Geneva Motor Show, customers and some dealers quickly bought up all 125 copies, each car cost about $ 2.8 million. Jesko’s serial production starts in the first months of 2020 at a speed about one car a week. Buyers will be able to choose a regular version of the model, as well as a performance that is intended only for the racetrack.
Under the hood, the Koenigsegg Jesko has a 5.0-liter twin turbo V8 that produces 1280 horsepower on standard gasoline and 1600 hp. on E85-fuel. A more powerful version, called Jesko 300, is already in development, it is known that it will be able to accelerate to 482 km / h.
According to official data, the company sold 83 copies of Jesko even before the car hit the exhibition stand. And just five days after his debut in Geneva, Koenigsegg received paid orders for 42 more cars.
Well, the new Koenigsegg Jesko is simply incredible in demand and this despite its high price. In fact, such a stir in the world of incredibly fast cars is not rare – other automakers such as Aston Martin, Bugatti and Lamborghini, Bugatti regularly sell their more desirable models even before their debut or soon after.
