Kia will update its flagship SUV Kia TellurideJuly 3, 2020
The model, which has been sold for 2 years, will be updated soon and will receive the Nightfall Edition package of options.
As it became known, the Telluride Nightfall Edition package will be available for all-wheel drive EX with a premium package and all SX trim levels for an additional $ 1,295. This package includes black gloss elements that will replace all chrome parts, including window trim and door trim, protective trims, roof arches, headlamp trim and PTF, as well as nameplates with the model name. The Kia badges themselves are also darkened, the grille got a new aggressive design and is made in black. Also, the SUV with the Nightfall Edition package boasts unique 20-inch wheels with 7 spokes painted in black with dark chrome nuts.
From the information we received, it cannot be said whether the Kia Telluride Nightfall Edition will be limited to certain color combinations of the body and interior, but we know that it will be offered in the same Wolf Gray shades that we saw on the new Kia K5 for South Korea, and this color only available with black leather interior.
In general, the updated Telluride will receive minor changes, including the new Sangria exterior color with black or gray leather interior, and the previously exclusive SX Black Copper color will be replaced by EX and S. The top-end Telluride EX version will now also receive fully LED daytime running lights which were previously only available on the SX version.
In models with “captain’s chairs” of the second row, engineers modified the armrests for added functionality and comfort. Also, the car will receive remote start of the engine through a special button on the key fob, and all SUVs with all-wheel drive will receive a special heater, which increases the efficiency of heating the passenger compartment.
The cost of the model increased by 100-400 US dollars. Prices and configurations of the model are not yet called, however, earlier we learned that there will be an 8-seater version.
