Kia told about the production of a new crossover TellurideFebruary 4, 2019
The place where the mass production of the new Kia Telluride 3-row crossover will be set up was Georgia (USA).
On the eve of the United States American Super Cup (rugby), the guys from the South Korean brand told about where the mass production of the new mid-sized South Korean crossover Kia Telluride will be launched. In the small town of West Point, Georgia, the company began the process of assembling its new items.
The promotional video, published by the press service of the brand a couple of minutes ago, is a short documentary film about a tiny city that most people do not know about, but which will soon be “heard”.
The recently-featured Telluride is a new Kia three-row crossover with eight seats. The novelty will compete directly with the Japanese Subaru Ascent, as well as the American Dodge Durango and Ford Explorer. The only available engine (for now) for the South Korean big man is the 3.8-liter V6 with a capacity of 291 hp. The 8-speed automatic transmission can transmit power to either the front wheels or the all-wheel drive system.
Kia is positioning its big crossover for people who want to travel in comfort with the whole family. Buyers can get a 10.3-inch infotainment display with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There is also a stereo with 10 speakers Harman Kardon, 6 USB ports and wireless “charging”. Driver assistance systems include features such as blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, lane retention assistance, adaptive cruise control, and all-around viewing.
