Kia Telluride will receive an off-road versionJanuary 14, 2020
According to unofficial information, the three-row South Korean crossover Kia Telluride will receive new versions in the near future. Among them, a version designed for off-road, as well as a luxurious modification.
The hefty South Korean crossover Kia Telluride debuted almost a year ago, impressing absolutely everyone at the 2019 Detroit Auto Show. Well, a couple of minutes ago, it became known that a three-row SUV could be offered in new versions. It is planned to present a more luxurious performance of the model, as well as a version focused on overcoming off-road.
But still it is necessary to perceive this information with a sufficient degree of mistrust, because the source, who informed us about this, does not provide any conclusive evidence.
And official statements from the automaker regarding the expansion of the number of available Kia Telluride trim levels have not yet been received.
These rumors appeared on the foreign Internet portal Autospies.com – information was provided by one of the participants in the forum, who is supposedly familiar with the course of affairs on the further development of the Telluride project. The only mentioned elements of the novelty – a luxurious version of the crossover, was called a two-color roof. The message also mentions a version of the crossover, which was created specifically to conquer off-road – such a car, among other things, will offer protective plates on the bottom of the car and special off-road tires. Nothing is yet known about how such crossover designs can be called, and in general there is no other information about them now. As we said, at the moment, nothing has been officially confirmed.
So why are we even talking about this? The fact is that on January 16 we will be presented with a new luxury crossover Genesis GV80. Genesis is a prestigious South Korean brand owned by the Kia Hyundai group. So why not Kia provide Telluride with a bit more prestigious technology that those who would like to buy Telluride would love to use, but they don’t have enough money for Genesis SUV?
