KIA Telluride crossover will receive an extreme packageJanuary 22, 2020
Extreme Kia Telluride, received an off-road package, anticipated the serial crossover.
KIA has prepared new versions of the flagship crossover Telluride, introduced about a year ago. The first version will be Telluride specially prepared for off-road driving, which will be equipped with enhanced protection for the lower part of the body and a set of wheels with unique off-road tires as standard.
If we discard all the off-road paraphernalia consisting of towing hooks, snorkel, 20-inch wheels shod in unique off-road tires, a spare wheel on the fifth door, an expeditionary roof rack, steel bumper protection, then you can clearly see the appearance of a serial crossover that pleases the general crossover brutality, provided by rather angular forms, wide vertical headlights, a large grille and very swollen wheel arches. Perhaps the only elegant part of Telluride are the taillights of an unusual shape.
In order to consider the interior of a serial crossover, inside you will also have to remove all the pretentiousness, discarding brown leather and rough wood. As a result, we get a completely familiar Kia architecture without any significant elements that deserve attention.
Under the hood of the Kia Telluride is a gasoline V6, but its volume and power have not been named. Note that now Kia has a 3.5-liter 250-horsepower naturally aspirated and 3.3-liter 370-horsepower bi-turbo units with the right number of cylinders. Most likely, the first option will be responsible for the performance of the extreme version.
The second version of the Telluride crossover, which is being prepared by the South Korean automaker, is a luxury version with a more luxurious trim, an expanded list of options and the ability to choose a combined body color. The interior of the current version of Telluride features Nappa leather, heated and ventilated seats, a projection display, and intelligent safety and driver assistance systems.
