Kia starts selling Soul EV Maxx in the UKAugust 20, 2021
The model will replace the previous version of the Kia Soul EV electric car, which debuted on the market back in 2018.
Korean automaker Kia has launched a new version of its Soul EV electric vehicle to the UK market, which should replace the previous version that has been on sale in Foggy Albion for almost three years, carsuk.net says.
At the heart of the car is the technical stuffing from Kia e – Niro. Accordingly, the technical characteristics have been preserved from this model. The Soul EV is equipped with a single electric motor located on the front axle. Its output is 201 horsepower with a torque of 395 Nm. A battery with a capacity of 64 kWh will be able to provide 451 kilometers. At the same time, the battery can be fully recharged from the home charging network in more than nine hours. It is interesting that the novelty outwardly differs from its predecessor only in the updated Kia logos.
This car can be purchased at a price of 34,945 pounds sterling. For this money, the buyer will receive a car with 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, a rear-view camera, parking sensors and Apple CarPlay with Android Auto as standard. At the same time, the consumer can buy a car at a discount from the state, which at the moment is 2.5 thousand pounds.
Customers will be allowed to pick up their purchased electric vehicles this fall. However, the representative office has not yet named more exact dates. It is possible that such caution is associated with a global shortage of chips.
