Kia showed the interior of the new MohaveAugust 21, 2019
Kia published the first design sketch to showcase the next-generation Mohave large SUV. Judging by the image, the interior of the model will be significantly different from its predecessor.
The interior of the SUV in many ways resembles the flagship sedan K900 of the new generation. In particular, Mohave has the same transmission selector, air conditioning ducts and a fully digital 12.3-inch dashboard. At the same time, the designers decided to abandon the display, which is enclosed in a separate unit, in favor of a more traditional layout with a screen in the front panel.
In addition, a new selector for selecting driving modes has appeared inside: Comfort, Eco, Sport, Sand, Mud, and Snow. Options include a head-up display, a 15-speaker Lexicon audio system, and ventilation seats.
The big SUV Kia Mohave debuted in South Korea in August 2019. The overall length of the car was 4930 mm, width – 1920 mm, and height – 1790 mm. The size of the wheelbase is 2895 millimeters.
At the start of sales, Mohave will be available with the only three-liter V6 turbodiesel developing 260 liters. with. and 560 Nm of torque. The motor is paired with an eight-speed “automatic” and an electronically controlled all-wheel drive system. The steering is made according to the R-MDPS scheme – with the location of the electric motor of the amplifier on the steering rack.
The list of electronic “assistants” included a system for preventing frontal collisions, a function of observing traffic lanes, a system for monitoring “blind” zones, adaptive cruise control with the ability to completely stop and resume movement, as well as tracking the driver’s fatigue and assistance when leaving the rear parking lot underway.
