Kia showcases new Mohave 2020 interiorSeptember 6, 2019
Kia showed off one of the Mohave trim sketches.
The interior of the new SUV is equipped with a dashboard with a large horizontal touch screen and a customizable second display for the passenger in the front seat. Behind the updated four-spoke steering wheel is a 12.3-inch cluster of digital sensors. There is also a Qi wireless charging unit. Acceptances made of wood and aluminum are visible in the photo. The seats are covered in black and beige leather.
For passengers in the rear seats there will be at least two different options for adjusting the climate in the cabin. The first option, the most expensive, includes switches for directing the air supply and adjusting the temperature. The basic configuration includes only a pair of vents. The 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine delivers 256 horsepower. and 413 Nm of torque.
The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. On the center console of the new Mohave there is a control unit for six driving modes: Comfort, Eco, Sport, Sand, Mud and Snow. Driving mode is selected depending on the weather and road conditions. The new Kia SUV will be introduced in the coming weeks, but it is not yet known whether this version will return to the US market.
