Already on August 22, the new crossover goes on sale. Pre-orders are already taking in two Indian cities of Gurugram and Bengaluru, and experts report rush demand, and the company has revealed a wide range of variations.
Kia Motors is ready to start selling the new Seltos crossover in India. The official sales start is scheduled for the end of this summer. According to the latest information, the model will be offered in five trim levels: – E, K, K +, X and X + – and 16 body color options. In addition, there will be six options for the combination of engines and gearboxes, as well as two versions of the body T Line and GT Line.
In the engine line will be offered a 1.4-liter GDI turbo engine with a capacity of up to 140 forces, a 1.5-liter “aspirated” with a capacity of up to 115 hp and a 1.5-liter turbo diesel, developing up to 115 forces. Another feature will be a wide choice of gearboxes: manual and automatic on six steps, automatic transmission on seven steps, as well as a continuously variable CVT.
The top grade KIA Seltos GT Line is the only one that will receive the most powerful 140-force engine, working in tandem with the manual or seven-speed automatic. Three sets of GTK, GTX and GTX + will enter the market.
