Kia Reveals New Picanto Ahead Of Geneva DebutJanuary 4, 2017
Kia posted the first official images and details of the next generation Picanto, which is designed to celebrate its premiere at the Geneva Motor Show a few months in 2017.
Designed in brand design centers in Frankfurt (Germany) and Namyang (Korea), a small hatchback comes in a new form with a 15 mm longer wheelbase, which now amount to 2400 mm, while maintaining the same length as its predecessor – 3595 mm.
The color palette called “more alive than ever.” Cab and interior were also redesigned, adding the latest technological features, the new touchscreen infotainment system with a floating design, automatic climate control, multifunction steering wheel, heated front seats, AUX and USB ports, leather seats with contrast stitching and many others innovations available either as standard or as an extra option.

In addition to new technologies, Kia claims that cabin and load compartment of the new Picanto is more generous to space than its competitors, though precise data is not yet provided.
Currently, there are no details about the engines range, but preliminary information indicates that will use 1.0-liter petrol unit, taken from its predecessor, and 1,0- liter turbocharged T-GDI 3-cylinder borrowed from CEE’D.
Full details about the 2018 Kia Picanto will be known in March, after the car will come to the set to the Swiss automotive event.
