KIA Mohave received a new top version of GravityMay 8, 2020
A restyled SUV in a new version will appear in Korea. From other modifications of this popular SUV, the novelty will differ in appearance and interior.
KIA Mohave appeared on the home market in the fall of 2019 and immediately aroused the interest of local buyers. In the first quarter of 2020, the model was sold in the amount of 4,598 units – this is immediately 5.6 times higher than last year’s figure. Amid growing sales, the brand decided to launch in Korea a new top-end version of the SUV called Gravity. Such a car differs from the standard SUV with a radiator grill – without “fangs” and with a modified design. 20-inch wheels are painted black here.
In the interior of the car, Alcantara trim is obtained by the steering wheel, door panels and a box armrest. In addition, Mohave Gravity relies on spectacular diode lights on the doors, as well as on a glossy insert in front of the front passenger.
You can buy a new top-end cross 5-, 6- or 7-seater version. With a six-seat interior architecture, grown-up headrests and cup holders in the second row are available.
The list of equipment included a new digital dashboard, optics on LEDs, multimedia with an enlarged 12.3-inch touchscreen (instead of an eight-inch display), a projection display, monitoring systems for blind spots and frontal collision warning, an assistant monitoring the strip movement, etc.
The updated Mohave is powered by the only three-liter V6 that produces 260 hp. and combined with 8-speed automatic transmission. But the electronic all-wheel drive control system for the updated car was upgraded – now the driver can choose among different driving modes (sand, dirt or snow).
Mohave Gravity with a five-seat cabin costs from 55,470,000 won. The seven-seater option will cost at least 56,120,000 won at least. A six-seater SUV with separate second-row seats is estimated at 56,520,000 won. For comparison, the previous top-end equipment cost from 51,820,000 won. In our country, an updated KIA Mohave is expected this year. The novelty has already passed the necessary certification.
