Kia Mohave checked in harsh winter conditionsJanuary 31, 2019
Model noticed on testing in winter conditions. Apparently, this is a new generation of Kia Mohave.
The prototype, most likely, is already being tested in a serial body. He gets a new design of the front end, including the grille and headlights, which will also be transferred to the production version. In the back, the new Mohave is expected to overlap with Telluride.
Interestingly, the new generation will not change the architecture. It will be built on the same platform as the current Mohave. He also will not drastically change the range of engines. It will include an updated 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel, as well as 3.8-liter and 4.6-liter gasoline engines from the Tau family. They will be equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The security system will include new driver assistance technologies. It will include a blind spot monitoring system, a lane departure warning, tire pressure monitoring, assistance in lane retention, adaptive cruise control with a speed limiter, a circular view system and a projection display.
It is assumed that the new Kia Mohave will be presented at the end of this year, and sales will begin in the first quarter of 2020.
