KIA is preparing to debut a completely new cross TuskerFebruary 14, 2019
The first photos of the car have already appeared on the web thanks to photospies. Now the company is conducting road winter trials of new items, but the prototypes are hidden under dense camouflage.
According to preliminary information, the conceptual model KIA SP, presented in 2018, can come out in a serial image. The company has already passed to the road tests of its own new product – the Trusker crossover. It is possible that he will be the successor to the concept.
Despite its acceptability, the design will change. In the photos we clearly see another grille, new optics and other bumpers. Also in the photo noticeable “fin” antenna, which was not on the concept car presented. Unfortunately, but the company is not in a hurry to disclose all the information and share their plans for a novelty. First of all, the model is being developed for the budget segment and will be presented in the Indian, Korean and American markets. There is every reason to believe that the model can come to the Russian market, but this will happen no earlier than 2020.
The basis will be used slightly revised platform from Hyundai Creta. As a power unit, you can expect a 1.4-liter turbo engine for 138 forces and a 2.0-liter “aspirated” for 147 horsepower.
