KIA introduced a commercial version of e-Soul
June 11, 2020Korean manufacturer expands e-Soul delivery range with new option: e-Soul Cargo. As the name suggests, we are dealing with a freight version of an all-electric Soul.
Kia supplies the all-electric version of the third-generation Soul: e-Soul. The range of unusual electric “Koreans” has replenished with a new version called e-Soul Cargo. It is based on the e-Soul system, developed as an ExecutiveLine, but, of course, there is a big difference between the regular version and this Cargo option.
In the e-Soul Cargo, the rear seat has given way to a metal-coated boot floor with 6 attachment points. The total cargo volume is approximately 1 cubic meter. There is a flap in the floor under which the charging cable can be stored. Passengers and luggage are separated by a steel counter. If there is no need for cargo space, according to Kia, the interior can be transformed into a Soul with a rear seat without problems.
Standard features of the e-Soul Cargo include a three-dimensional infotainment system, a digital instrument panel covered in leather, electrically adjustable, heated and ventilated front seats, adaptive cruise control, LED lighting front and rear, a heated steering wheel, and front and rear parking sensors. A rearview camera and Harman Kardon speaker system are also standard.
The e-Soul Cargo, like the regular e-Soul, has a 64 kW battery in the lower part of the body, with which you can overcome up to 452 kilometers of electric WLTP. Responsible for the performance of the electric motor with a capacity of 204 hp According to the publication autoweek.nl, the new product is already available for order.
