Kia has published a teaser for the updated Cadenza sedanJune 6, 2019
The official image of the novelty was published on the South Korean automaker’s website. Debut should take place in the next few weeks. The car is intended mainly for the car market in South Korea.
First introduced in the United States in March 2016, the 2017 model year Kia Cadenza was a significant improvement over its predecessor. Spacious, more beautiful and more efficient than ever, the sedan made a “much stronger statement about itself” than the model it replaced. Now the automaker has decided that it is time to release an updated version of Cadenza, and this will happen primarily for the automotive market in South Korea.
We can get acquainted with the long-awaited continuation of the model on the first teasers and I must say that we definitely like what we see.
In its homeland, the current version of the stylish sedan bears the nickname K7 and was released in late January 2016. These first sketches and video teaser suggest that the car should change completely, at least outwardly. The front grille is now much more pronounced and is surrounded by smooth headlights that connect to the grille.
The same story behind the modified rear lights are now connected by a light strip that extends across the entire width of the tailgate. All lighting devices, both from behind and from the front, seem to be fully LED, but this is only a guess at the moment.
Big changes will occur with the car interior. As far as we can see, now a large display has appeared for the infotainment system with air vents located just below the screen. The center console is also redesigned and equipped with a new HVAC control panel. Changes in the area surrounding the gearshift mechanism are also visible.
