Kia Ceed crossover is seen on testsDecember 3, 2018
The new crossover from the South Korean brand will be located between the models Stonic and Sportage.
At the beginning of this year, South Korean car company Kia introduced a new generation of hatchback / station wagon Ceed, as well as the incredible ProCeed. Now, Kia engineers are busy preparing for the presentation of another representative of the compact Ceed family.
This is a crossover that will be based on Ceed.
Another crossover will appear in the model range of the South Korean car brand. Most likely, the new product will receive all components and assemblies from the usual model execution.
According to the guys from Kia, in the current model range of the brand there is a rather large gap between the Stonic and Sportage crossovers. That’s just between these two models and will be a crossover based on Ceed.
A couple of minutes ago, spy photos of a test prototype of a new South Korean crossover turned out to be at the disposal of our automobile editors. The prototype of the car received a fairly dense camouflage – apparently, the test of the novelty has just begun. You can see that the Kia crossover will be larger in size than just the same Ceed wagon with increased ground clearance and a protective plastic body kit.
The presentation of the new South Korean crossover will take place in March next year, while its sales will probably start in the second half of 2019.
Not so long ago, it became known that gasoline engines are no longer available for the European Kia Soul.
