Kia called the exact date for the appearance on the market of the Sportage 2020 with a different appearanceJanuary 2, 2019
The South Korean auto giant Kia announced the start date for the implementation of the next-year upgraded Sportage SUV with a different look. Model 2020 was created mainly for car enthusiasts from the Middle Kingdom.
The Kia management chose the month and the day when the launch of the rethought cross-over Kia Sportage 2020 on the car market will start. It sounds crazy, because it’s only the second day of 2019 outside. So, this new product will please fans of the brand from China on March 19. By this time, the official dealers of the brand will receive a new cross.
The novelty will stand out significantly when compared with the global variation of the SUV. By the way, in the Chinese auto shows, crossvan will be presented under the name Kia KX5. The car purchased from its creators a massive grille, rethought headlights, other bumpers, fog lights and rear LED optics.
Plus, the Kia KX5 next year has radically redesigned the interior design. There will be another front panel, a retractable touchscreen of the infotainment complex and a dashboard with an impressive color bortovik LED display.
The updated crossover will be driven by a 1.6-liter turbocharged unit capable of generating 177 horsepower paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. There is also a two-liter atmospheric engine with a power of 165 horsepower. The latter will work with a six-speed manual or a six-speed hydro-manual robotized gearbox. There are front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive systems.
In the standard equipment list, in addition to the basic options, there are: cruise control, the function of self-prevention of side impacts during road accidents, and a semi-robot control system when driving in its own lane on the roadway.
According to the data currently available, the price tag for the Kia KX5 2020 in China’s car dealerships will request from 172,000 to 241,800 yuan.
