KIA brought to Chengdu a new crossover KIA KX3September 4, 2019
This SUV is a KIA Seltos version adapted for the Chinese car market.
KIA brought to the auto show in Chengdu, China, its new KIA KX3 crossover. On the eve of the media, fresh photos of the new product and its technical characteristics appeared. So, the SUV itself, whose length reaches a mark of 4 345 mm with a wheelbase of 2 630 mm, almost completely copies the global KIA Seltos model. The interior of the KX3 also largely repeats the interior of its “donor”: similar ventilation deflectors, as well as a dashboard visually combined with a multimedia display.
The features of the Chinese version were the abundance of silver decor in the cabin, spectacular wood inserts on the front panel, as well as the touch-sensitive climate control unit.
Under the hood, the KIA KX3 for China hides a non-alternative gasoline “aspirated” by one and a half liters with a capacity of 115 hp. In the homeland of KIA, such a SUV relies on an all-wheel drive modification, which is unlikely to get to China. Local 4WD motorists do not favor. The Chinese KIA KX3 stood on the conveyor belt of a joint venture between KIA and Dongfeng. The appearance of new items in Russia is waiting for next year.
