According to some publications, the 2021 Kia Sportage compact crossover will soon be available in a “dark” Nightfall Edition. There are currently no official images of the “dark” Sportage.

Recently, the South Korean company Kia has been introducing a so-called “dark” theme for its crossovers. The special performance is called the Nightfall Edition. Most recently, the Korean automaker unveiled this “package” for the Telluride seven-seat crossover, which will go on sale this summer.

Now it became known that the next crossover of the company, who will receive a “dark” theme, will be the compact Kia Sportage. This became known through the study of the site of one of the dealers of the South Korean brand in the United States.

Don’t expect mechanical changes to the Sportage Nightfall Edition, however. As with the huge KIA Telluride, the Sportage crossover updates are purely aesthetic – mostly dark accents on the body of the car.

There are currently no official images of the “dark” Sportage, but you can check out the photos of the KIA Telluride Nightfall Edition to get an idea of what awaits the Sportage crossover.

Expect black front and rear skid plates, bumper and fog lamp elements, as well as side moldings and a false grille and badges. There will be no chrome exterior elements – they will be replaced by dark accents. It is also reported that the Sportage Nightfall Edition will receive a panoramic sunroof, a set of 18-inch wheels in black.

It is assumed that the Sportage Nightfall Edition will cost $ 28,210. The Sportage Nightfall Edition will be available for the 2021 model year. An official announcement from Kia is expected soon. Some reports say the mid-size Sorento crossover will also get a “dark theme” Nightfall Edition.
