The press service of the South Korean brand announced the imminent start of sales of the 7-seater crossover Kia Telluride in a new version.

Kia decided to create a “darkened” special edition for the family-owned 7-seater crossover. The presence of a new “package” of styling, which will be called Nightfall Edition, was found in Kia dealership price lists. It is known that this additional option will be available as a novelty of the 2021 model year. There are no photos of this crossover performance yet, but we know that the cosmetic “package” of updates will cost a little less than $ 1,300.

The crossover will receive darkened Kia emblems, a unique black false radiator grille and exclusive 20-inch black rims with dark chrome eye nuts.

In addition, you can expect the appearance of black headlight frames and a lot of glossy black exterior elements – roof rails, protective linings, door linings and much more. They will replace silver or chrome elements.

It is reported that the “package” Nightfall Edition will be available for all-wheel drive versions of the Kia Telluride 2021 EX and SX crossover, which cost $ 40,560 and $ 45,260, respectively. However, the EX version will need to install an additional Premium package, worth $ 1,695, in order to be able to purchase the specified special edition. In total, you will have to pay $ 43,550 for the EX version and $ 46,555 for the SX. In addition, you can choose a new Wolf Gray body color for $ 495. In this case, the interior also turns black.

Mechanically, nothing has changed in the crossover – Telluride will have the same 3.8-liter V6 engine with 291 horsepower. The “cousin” of the Telluride crossover, the Hyundai Palisade, has not yet received the black version of the Nightfall Edition.

Not so long ago, our publication wrote that a wreck with thousands of Hyundai and Kia decided to drown in the ocean. In the second half of 2019, the MV Golden Ray cargo ship with vehicles of brands such as Hyundai and Kia left the port of Brunswick, but he could not reach the name point: the vessel turned over.
