Ken Block showed Gymkhana filmedApril 26, 2019
In this episode, Block drove the 845 horsepower Mustang Hoonikorn
Ken Block posted a Gymkhana 7 post on YouTube that was made on Super 8 tape. Due to the special color and depth of the picture on it looks really vintage, in the spirit of movies 60-70-ies.
In the seventh version of Gymkhana, Ken Block drives a Mustang Hoonicorn RTR V1. This all-wheel drive coupe is built around ASD Motorsports custom frame and equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 engine delivering 845 horsepower and 976 Nm of torque.
Hoonicorn was later modified: two Garrett turbines, a new intake manifold and a methanol injection system, were installed. After upgrading engine output increased to 1,400 horsepower and 1,675 Nm of torque.
The last part of Gymkhana is the tenth. Episodes for her were filmed in Mexico, Sweden, Detroit, Los Angeles and the Texas city of Shamrock. In the video, five Ken Block cars are shot at once: the 927-hp Hoonitruck pickup, the all-wheel drive Mustang, the rally-cross Focus, the rally Fiesta and the racing Escort RS.
Later, the directing versions of the three episodes of the tenth part of Gymkhana also came out.
