Kawasaki introduced its new product – naked Z H2October 24, 2019
A new leader has appeared in the Z line-up of Nakeds model – a powerful compressor monster that looks like a transformer. Prices in Europe start at 17.6 thousand euros. This motorcycle is often confused with the legendary Ninja H2.
Naked – a motorcycle style, a characteristic feature of which is the lack of a plastic lining, as well as a windshield. A similar Kawasaki Z H2 motorcycle was like a Ninja H2, only without plastic, but in the real world there are much more differences between the two motorcycles than it seems at first glance.
First of all, Naked has a different frame. Z H2 and Ninja H2 are built on the basis of the compressor liter four-cylinder engine. The de-energized Naked’s engine delivers 200 horsepower and 137 Nm of torque at 8500 rpm. His related sports motorcycle has a larger engine – 231 horsepower at 11,500 rpm and 142 Nm of torque at 11,000 rpm, and with dynamic boost the bike can squeeze out 243 horses.
Also, the naked Z H2 turned out to be 17 kilograms lighter than the H2 SX sport tour. The curb weight of the first reaches 239 kg, and the second – 245 kg.
In the basic version, the novelty is equipped with a Showa SFF-BP plug (Separate Function Fork – Big Piston), a dashboard LCD screen, traction control, cruise control, slipping clutch, quick shifter and a system for selecting driving modes. Interestingly, the brake discs have a diameter of 290 mm with Brembo M4.32 calipers. The set for such capacities is not impressive. Probably, Stylema staples would also fit perfectly.
The cost of a motorcycle in the European market starts from 17 590 euros.
