Karma showed the first teaser of the concept from PininfarinaMarch 12, 2019
Karma Automotive showed the first teaser of its new concept car, created in conjunction with the specialists of the famous Italian studio Pininfarina. He makes his debut in mid-April in Shanghai.
American Karma Automotive and Italian Pininfarina have joined forces to create a new concept car, which will debut on April 16 at the Shanghai Auto Show. A teaser announced this week shows the front of the car. We have added brightness to the image so that its details are better visible.
Judging by the clarified teaser (compare with the original above), the new Karma concept in the lower part of the front bumper has two large air intakes with large vertical crossbars, separated by a jumper in the middle. The prototype has a narrow LED headlights, partially reaching up to the front fenders. It is also not difficult to discern a large, smooth hood and a roof as if swollen around the edges like two bubbles.
“Karma is one with Pininfarina in a commitment to stunning design, and is inspired by the reaction that companies expect from the end result of this partnership,” said Karma CEO Lance Zhou when the last image was released.
On the teaser declassified a week ago (see below), Karma also showed what its new electric concept Vision will be like. The design of its streamlined stern with narrow LED lights throughout the width of the prototype, emphasizing its size, is made in the same style as the prototype from Pininfarina.
Recall that at the Shanghai Motor Show, Karma intends to present three new products to the public at once. It will be two concept cars – created together with Pininfarina and electric Vision – plus the next generation Revero. If you believe spy pictures taken in March last year, the new Revero will be very similar to the model of the current generation. At least the test “mule” is built using its body. Differences lie only in the revised front and rear parts of the machine. But they are also hidden from prying eyes by a special disguise.
