Journalists caught updated SsangYong TivoliDecember 29, 2018
The small South Korean crossover from SsangYong can be seen some exterior updates – there are not so many of them, but they are. Presentation of new items is expected next year.
As you know, the SsangYong brand specializes in creating crossovers, SUVs and pickups. In our country, it offers three compact crossover – Tivoli, XLV and Actyon. That’s just the new version of the baby Tivoli and managed to capture foreign journalists. “Spy” photos of the car appeared at the disposal of our editorial office just a couple of minutes ago.
SsangYong engineers decided to cover the front and back of the crossover with some black material, which is designed to hide its updated appearance from prying eyes.
But still, the camouflage can not disrupt some of the biggest changes. Tivoli has new headlights that look more square than they are now, and the metal trim of the false radiator grille looks harmoniously with them. Fog lights seem to have become more round.
In general, the angular form of the current generation of the model is preserved, only a few sharp edges are added. The official presentation of the new version of the South Korean crossover can be expected next year.
According to rumors, the current engines – gasoline 1.6-liter 4-cylinder and 1.6-liter turbodiesel, can be added 1.2-liter turbocharged engine. It may well replace the petrol 1.6. Buyers will still have a choice of front or all-wheel drive.
