Journalists caught the updated Audi A3 Sportback with S3April 3, 2019
The official presentation of the Audi A3 5-door hatchback of a new generation will most likely be held at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany in September 2019.
After the German automaker, Audi, introduced the updated version of the A3 Sportback G-Tron, which uses natural gas as a fuel, now everyone is looking forward to the appearance of a completely new generation of the Audi A3. The 5-door hatchback will continue to compete with another BMW 1 Series hatchback.
A few minutes ago, foreign publications published “spy” photos of the new A3. It is curious that the prototype of the car was seen in the company of several more new products from the German brand, among which was the “charged” version of the S3 – it had sports tailpipes of the exhaust system.
In addition, this prototype received a lowered (probably sports) suspension, as well as a set of alloy wheels. The usual and “charged” performance of the novelty had an LED lamp on the grille – it is necessary for tests.
Still heavily disguised, the model of the new Audi A3, got steel rims. The next-generation A3 Sportback seems to have new headlights and taillights inherited from the latest models of the brand. Knowing Audi and their love of evolutionary design, we believe that the exterior design of the new product will strongly resemble a render by independent artists, published at the beginning of the year.
While the appearance of the car should not change too much, its interior is waiting for serious changes. We hope that the tablet-style display will be replaced with a neat screen, like the new Q3 crossover. The dashboard will be completely digital. It remains to be seen whether the controls will remain traditional with knobs and dials or they will be replaced by an additional touchscreen, as in larger Audi models.
