Joint supercar Nissan and Italdesign first brought to the trackAugust 6, 2018
The company Nissan published a video, which for the first time shows a race on the racetrack of the supercar GT-R50, developed by joint efforts with the body studio Italdesign. The car drove through the Belgian track Spa-Francorchamps.
The supercar was created in honor of the 50th anniversary of the GT-R (formerly known as the Skyline GT-R). From the standard car the novelty differs a unique body with the extended cowling, the changed air intakes and other optics.
The Nissan GT-R50 was equipped with an upgraded 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6, delivering 720 hp and 780 Nm of torque – 65 hp and 87 Nm more than the engine’s normal GT-R output. In the engine used increased turbines, reinforced crankshaft, connecting rods and pistons, as well as modernized oil nozzles. In addition, engineers modernized the injection system, as well as the intake and exhaust.
Prices for an exclusive supercar, the circulation of which will be limited to 50 copies, will start from the level of 1.05 million euros. This is about six times more expensive than the standard Nissan GT-R Nismo.
