Jeremy Clarkson chose the worst five cars of the yearJanuary 3, 2019
The host of the show The Grand Tour, Jeremy Clarkson, called the five worst, in his opinion, cars of the past year. He made his choice from 28 cars he tested for the British edition of the Sunday Times.
All cars in the rating received a rating of two stars out of five. One of the first in the list of the worst models of 2018, Clarkson turned on the “charged” compact car Abarth 695 Rivale. He called the convertible too harsh and uncomfortable and difficult to drive.
The same list included a big Audi Q8 coupe, which, according to Clarkson, is only suitable for those who are “crazy”. The presenter also called the Dacia (Renault) Duster the worst car of the year. Jezza said that the crossover is too scary and low-power, and such a car that was on his test (in golden color and cost over 15 thousand pounds) should not exist at all.
The last two models on the Clarkson list are the special version of the 102-strong MINI hatchback and the Volvo V60 wagon. He called the first of these cars “uncomfortable and terrible”, and the second – the car for those who “finally tied up with their sex life.”
Earlier, Clarkson chose the five best cars in 2018. The list includes: Lamborghini Huracan Performante, Porsche 911 GT2 RS, Alpina B5, Aston Martin Vantage and Bentley Continental GT.
