“On October 5 and 6, I will take part in the DTM races in Hockenheim,” wrote the 2009 world champion. – During the racing career, I have always been a fan of various types of motorsport, so after completing performances in F1 I was constantly looking for new opportunities and was ready for new challenges.
I am pleased to inform you that in Honda and DTM I was given the following opportunity: at the wheel of a Honda NSX, together with my Team Kunumitsu, I will take part in the two final stages of this championship in Hockenheim.
In addition, the factory teams of Nissan and Lexus, performing in the Japanese Super GT series, are also putting one car at the start, which will further aggravate the struggle, which in the DTM is already very sharp. Of course, I’m already in anticipation! ”
You can add that the Button is the reigning Super GT champion: last year, along with his partner, Naoki Yamamoto, he won the title in this series. This season, three stages before the end of the championship, their team takes 5th place.
