Jeep unveils Wrangler 4xe hybrid SUV The novelty will join the hybrid family of Renegade and Compass 4xe.
The novelty is equipped with a hybrid unit, consisting of a 2.0-liter turbo engine, two electric motors and a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 17 kW / h, located under the rear seats. The total capacity of the plant is 375 hp. and 637 Nm of torque. In turn, the unit has three modes such as Hybrid, Electric and eSave. Despite the electrification of the model, it remains focused on off-road, as indicated by the Trail Rated badge.
The new model will hit major markets (US, China and Europe) early next year. It will be offered in three trim levels: 4xe, Sahara 4xe and Rubicon 4xe.
The Wrangler 4xe also features off-road bumpers, side-locking wheels and more. In addition, Jeep will offer customers a 240-volt wall charger.
What sets the 2021 Wrangler 4xe apart from the rest of the Wrangler lineup is its blue accents. The shade is used on the tow hooks and on the Jeep and Trail Rated badges, as well as the Rubicon branding on the bonnet. In addition, the new items in the salon have resorted to the use of blue stitching.
As for the cost of the Jeep Wrangler 4xe, it remains unknown. Most likely, prices will be announced closer to the start of sales.
