Jeep revises list of available trim levels for 2021 CherokeeJuly 30, 2020
According to Automotive resource CarsDirect, the 2021 Jeep Cherokee crossover won’t be available in the expensive Overland trim. Across the US, there are only 10 Jeep Cherokee remaining in the 2020 Overland version.
The American automaker has decided to change the number of trim levels available for the 2021 Grand Cherokee mid-size SUV. It was decided to do this before a completely new generation of the model will be presented. Now there is evidence that similar actions will occur with the Cherokee crossover.
According to the foreign auto service CarsDirect, the most expensive and luxurious equipment of the crossover, called Overland, will be discontinued in the 2021 model year. This information was allegedly taken from internal documentation intended for Jeep dealers.
Prices for the Overland Cherokee crossover currently start at $ 38,490 for the 4×2 version and 39,990 dollars. for the version of the car with four-wheel drive.
If you order a car in this configuration, with all the options available, including Nappa ventilated seats and 19-inch wheels, you can expect a price close to $ 43,000.
It is known that the Overland trim level will be replaced by the 4×4 Limited version. It starts at $ 37,025 and offers many of the features previously available for Overland as optional equipment.
CarsDirect also reports that Jeep dealerships across the US currently only have 10 Cherokees in the 2020 Overland version.
