The American automaker announced a special edition for its Jeep Renegade crossover. The novelty of the 2020 model year was called the Orange Edition.
Jeep Renegade is the smallest car in the current model range of the off-road brand. A couple of hours ago, Jeep announced a special edition of the compact crossover, which received the designation Orange Edition. And despite the fact that this name suggests, at least, a bright body color, the Renegade Orange Edition is not so ..
Instead, the Orange Edition received orange exterior / interior accents and other design improvements. The 2020 model year novelty is based on the Latitude mid-range configuration.
The “package” offers a sticker on the hood on the driver’s side with an orange stripe, an orange coating on the exterior mirrors and an orange frame on the HVAC vents and door speakers. Other visual enhancements include 19-inch black aluminum wheels, unique orange badges and glossy black rings on the false radiator grille. Jeep’s 7.0-inch Uconnect infotainment screen comes standard.
Alpine White is the standard exterior color in the case of the Renegade Orange Edition, but the shades of Glacier White, Granite Crystal and Black cost an additional $ 245 or $ 17,682. compared with the starting price of the car at $ 27,185. (front-wheel drive version). All-wheel drive models start at $ 28,685. Black fabric seats are standard.
Renegade Orange Edition has additional options. The Jeep My Sky sunroof and panoramic double glass sunroof are available for $ 1,595. Jeep Safety & Security Group II rain-sensitive wipers cost $ 695 or $ 50,159, an Advanced Technology Group system that includes adaptive cruise control, a warning about leaving a lane and much more costs $ 1,295. Under the hood, there is still a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that combines with a nine-speed automatic. Engine power is 180 horsepower (273 Nm).
Not so long ago, we wrote that the new Jeep Grand Cherokee was shown in the first renderings. When working on this visualization, spy photos of the next generation SUV were used, which makes the renderings very believable.
