Jeep Gladiator Top Dog or SUV for avid mountain bikersNovember 2, 2020
The American brand has unveiled a version of its Jeep Gladiator SUV, which is designed for fans of mountain biking in hard-to-reach places. The novelty combines Jeep Performance and Mopar accessories.
“The Jeep Gladiator Top Dog Concept is ready to take mountain bikers deep into the wilderness, and after they have enjoyed the outdoors, it can shelter them in a cozy camping” – said in an official press release for the new version of the SUV. The car combines Jeep Performance parts, Mopar accessories and a few custom features.
There is a special storage system at the rear of the machine. The passenger side of this carrier is for transportation. There are storage boxes for tools and shelves for other equipment, in addition to outside light switches. The driver’s side has a refrigerator and hot dog roller grill. There are opening panels in the lower corners to accommodate even more items, and there is a drawer above the rear bumper.
There is space on the roof of the car and at the top of the storage system for storing equipment, including bicycles. A ladder in the back drawer allows access to it.
Jeep also redesigned the front of the SUV a bit. The bumper received a Warn brush and winch. The car is equipped with 17-inch aluminum wheel rims with beadlocks and 37-inch BF Goodrich KM3 off-road tires. Steel wing extenders are installed above them. A two-inch suspension lift with Fox shocks provides higher ground clearance. The bonnet is a concept detail with black Mopar latches and Jeep Willys logo. A 5 ”LED floodlight is located at the base of each A-pillar.
The interior is wrapped in black Katzkin leather on the seats, armrests, derailleur cuffs, steering wheel and handbrake knob. Blue stitching provides color contrast. Additional touches are stainless steel pedal pads and all-weather floor mats.
