Jeep Gladiator Now Available With Half DoorsAugust 21, 2021
The American Jeep Gladiator pickup truck will now be available with optional semi-doors, two-door and four-door cab configurations. The option is reportedly already available from brand dealers in the United States.
After years of waiting, Jeep Wrangler fans are finally getting semi-doors as an extra charge for the 2021 SUV version. Half doors were offered for both two and four-door models, and now the same option can be ordered by future owners of the Jeep Gladiator pickup.
Half doors for the four-door version of the Gladiator are already available for order from Jeep dealers, according to Mopar Insiders.
The novelty is offered through the Mopar Custom Shop and may be part of a typical new Gladiator order in which standard doors are installed alongside semi-doors packed inside the truck upon delivery.
It is said that “switching” between doors is a simple process that only takes a few minutes, and half doors are compatible with features such as power mirrors and locks, and blind spot detection. There are two different sets of zippered polyethylene top window sections to match standard or premium convertible options.
All four semi-doors with premium top windows will reportedly cost $ 4,995 or RUB 371,448. A simpler design of the upper windows slightly reduces the price to $ 4,590 or 341,330 rubles. That price could force Gladiator owners to look for cheaper aftermarket alternatives, but such offers won’t be available with a full factory warranty either.
