Jeep Gladiator made a van based on a pickup truckOctober 9, 2019
Prices for the American miracle in the field of road travel start at $ 32,880. The vanes can be opened / closed in just one move.
After demonstrating their folding camping equipment at Overland Expo West in May this year, the FiftyTen team is finally ready to present their next project. The German company will show a special box for the mid-size Jeep Gladiator pickup truck, which will be installed on the car’s cargo platform. The presentation will take place as part of the Overland Expo East event this weekend.
A couple of minutes ago, we got the first photos of the news and preliminary data about it. The backbone of the van is what the company calls the “tray.” It provides access inside from all three sides, and there is also a clean place to store all your equipment. FiftyTen representatives say the fabric of the tent can be easily dismantled and stored when the truck is not used for travel.
“What is most important to our customers is an exciting car adventure and a good time. A good night’s sleep is vital – it charges you with the energy needed for your next exciting day. In our van, you can get a good night’s sleep. ”
FiftyTen declares that their development should be able to turn your truck into a van in just “a few seconds.”
You just need to unhook the protective hook and everything else will happen by itself. And the best part is that closing the van windows is almost as easy – you need to pull the hook down.
According to official figures, the price of a camper for the Jeep Gladiator will be at least $ 32,880 – this price certainly does not include the price of a pickup truck. The company will offer several options for interior decoration and many different colors.
