Jeep Gladiator 2020: presented online before the public debut

In a matter of hours before the official presentation of the new Jeep Gladiator pickup, the company’s press service decided to publish photos of the future news. The public debut of the model will be held at the opening of the international auto show in Los Angeles.

In just a few hours, the opening of the Los Angeles Automobile Salon, in which many new products for the American and international markets will be presented, will take place. One of them will be the new off-road pickup Jeep Gladiator 2020 model year. The car is waiting for a large number of fans of the company, and the press service decided to declassify the model before the presentation, publishing official photos on the network.

In addition to photos, some details became known. So, the model will be offered in four trim levels: Sport, Sport S, Overland and Rubicon. The latter, traditionally, will be prepared for maximum off-roading and will receive 20-inch alloy wheels, off-road 33-inch tires, an additional body kit and steel bumpers with the possibility of installing a winch.

The model is based on a frame platform with a length of 5,181 mm, which is 787 mm longer than the Wrangler Unlimited. In the configuration, the Rubicon model will receive 282 mm wheel clearance, as well as wide angles of arrival and exit.

At the time of the start of sales will be offered a version with an atmospheric 3.6-liter engine, capable of developing up to 285 horsepower and 352 Nm of torque. Later, a 3.0-liter diesel engine will appear.
