Jeep announces the imminent debut of two special editions of the Gladiator pickupAugust 4, 2020
The American automaker has announced the debut of two anniversary editions of the Jeep Gladiator midsize pickup truck. It is known that one of them will receive the designation Willys / Willys Sport, and the other 80th Anniversary Edition.
The 2021 Gladiator truck will soon be available in Willys and 80th Anniversary Editions. We managed to find out about this thanks to the participants of the foreign forum Jeep Gladiator Forum. They first discovered a list of new versions of the mid-size model (the list was meant for the automaker’s dealers). Several sources were also able to confirm that the company says two special editions for the Jeep Gladiator.
Willys’ version is the more interesting of the two. Such a truck will receive a black false radiator grille and a durable steel bumper from the most expensive Overland configuration.
The truck will receive black wheels, more powerful shock absorbers and a Trac Lok limited slip differential. Technology and Convenience Group “Packs” are standard. The Max Tow package for new Jeep Gladiator pickup is not available as an option, which may not be suitable for people looking to transport their truck.
The standard Gladiator Willys will cost $ 39,240. Willys Sport will also be offered for 35,245 dollars, which has Technology and Convenience Group packages.
The 80th Anniversary edition has a leaner list of options. It will receive body-colored fenders and neutral gray exterior body accents. The truck “rides” on 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires. There will also be special badges on the body. The cabin will feature an 8.4-inch infotainment screen, a premium audio stereo system, and remote start. Keyless entry function is optional. This pickup option costs $ 41,740.
People posting on the Jeep Gladiator forum indicate that dealers are now taking orders for a version of the Willys pickup. Customers should be able to submit a request for the 80th Anniversary Edition by early September, or perhaps even earlier.
