Jeep announced the imminent debut of the “mysterious” modelNovember 13, 2020
The premiere of the new car from the American automaker will take place next week, November 17. The Americans decided to keep the intrigue to the end and did not tease the public with teaser images in anticipation of the debut, as many automakers do.
The next week promises to be very interesting in terms of car innovations: in mid-November, presentations of their new cars will be organized, for example, by Infiniti, Honda, Subaru and Lincoln. Now it became known that Jeep is also going to surprise fans. She plans to officially unveil her new model on November 17.
The Americans did not disclose the future debutant, but foreign auto experts have several contenders for this role. One of them is the new generation Grand Cherokee with a three-row saloon. The novelty was supposed to reach the conveyor already this year, but later the plans had to be changed for obvious reasons. Now the car will be launched into production in the first quarter of 2021.
It is expected that the new product will get an improved Alfa Romeo Giorgio platform, as well as a very diverse range of engines, including the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and the 5.7-liter Hemi V8. A plug-in hybrid has also been announced.
The second possible debutant is the restyled Jeep Compass. The compact crossover, judging by the spy photos, received new optics, a modified grille and a redesigned front panel. The interior of the car has also changed. So, in the SUV’s cabin you can now see new multimedia in a stylish metal frame.
Keep in mind that Jeep continues to work on the new Grand Cherokee, Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. In any case, we still have to wait for the official debut of the mysterious novelty, because it is difficult to choose one debutant.
