Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa posted a photo on his Instagram that supposedly depicts the serial version of the Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar. The picture was probably taken in the technical center of the British manufacturer, during the drawing of the car according to the Maedzawa specification.
The hypercar on the renderer differs from the prototype presented in summer of this year by a double splitter, a janitor fixing layout and wheel design. The Valkyrie is painted white with golden elements at the front of the body and on the sides of the roof.
Aston Martin previously revealed the details of the Valkyrie hybrid power plant. It will be based on a record-power “aspirated” 6.5 V12, developed by Cosworth and delivering 1146 horsepower.
Here you can listen to how this engine sounds. The electric components for the super hybrid will be supplied by the Croatian Rimac, a seven-speed automatic transmission with steering-wheel paddle shifts – Ricardo.
The chassis and body of the Aston Martin Valkyrie almost entirely made of carbon fiber. Even the headlights and the Aston Martin emblem will be as light as possible – it is 99.4 percent lighter than the standard. In the bottom of the hypercar there are tunnels that create a Venturi effect. They allow machines weighing a little more than a ton to generate downforce in 1814 kilograms.
