Jaguar is about to release a youth hatchbackJune 22, 2020
The British brand has conceived a reform of its current lineup. The company plans to say goodbye to the XE and XF sedans, at the same time offering customers a curious car innovation.
Jaguar may release a new compact hatchback targeted at youth audiences. Such information is shared by Autocar.
In the coming year, the brand was going to curtail the production of its XE and XF sedans, but now another important point has been added to the plans for the future. As for the above-mentioned sedans, their sales continue to decline, which prompted the gloom to make a difficult decision. A new hybrid sedan may take their place.
There is little information about the new youth hatchback from Jaguar. According to the chief designer of the brand Julian Thomson, the premium compact hatch will receive global status. With it, the automaker wants to lure youth and a female audience to its side.
Appearance, the novelty can borrow from the old Jaguar RD-6 concept, which debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show back in 2003. In length, the novelty will reach 4,500 mm.
