Continuing to celebrate its 70th anniversary, Jaguar has built two rally F-Type. Cars released in honor of the model XK 120, which in the early fifties successfully performed in the UK rally, the Dutch Tulip and Alpine Rally. Roadsters comply with FIA requirements, but are not homologated to compete.
Jaguar attracted a company specializing in the development of rally cars to build Jaguar F-Type. Roadsters were equipped with reinforced underbody protection, suspension with 40 mm overestimation, 16-inch wheels with gravel tires and special adjustable shock-absorbing struts Exe-TC. They are put on combat rally cars participating in the WRC.
Racing Jaguar F-Type also lost the hood opening mechanism, got the safety cage, carbon doors from the F-Type GT4, enhanced brakes, racing buckets, hydraulic handbrake, increased steering knuckles and limited slip differential.
Under the hood of cars, made in the style of the anniversary version of Checkered Flag Limited Edition, installed two-liter “turbo” of the family Ingenium, issuing 300 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. The gearbox is an eight-speed automatic. Drive – rear.
