An advertisement for the sale of the Jaguar E-type Series 2 2 + 2 coupe, which turns 50 this year, has been posted on the Internet.
The coupe, which is painted in a dark purple hue, covered 30,000 km with a beige interior. The car is set in motion by a 173-horsepower 4.2-liter engine, together with a 4-speed manual transmission. The photo shows exactly the left-hand drive modification.
Now the car is in St. Petersburg. The seller recommends potential customers to hurry up with the purchase, since the coupe will be removed from sale at the end of September.
The Jaguar E-type was produced from 1961 to 1974. Initially, it was produced in 2-seater coupe and roadster bodies, but in 1964 a 4-seater 2 + 2 variation with an extended wheelbase became available. In addition to the manual transmission, the car could be equipped with a 3-speed automatic transmission. The owners of the E-type were such famous personalities as Brigitte Bardot and Steve McQueen.
In addition, the world’s only Aston Martin from the Italian tuning company Bertone was recently put up for sale. It should be emphasized that this car is equipped with a 5.9-liter V12 power unit with a capacity of 470 hp.
