The company Jaguar introduced a special modification of the XJ sedan, designed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the model. The premiere of the novelty took place at the motor show in Beijing
Special version from the usual Jaguar XJ can be distinguished by bumpers from the modification of Autobiography, 20-inch wheels of special design, black grille, as well as nameplates with the name of the car – XJ50 – on the front and rear air intakes.
In the interior, the seats are lined with leather with a diamond-shaped stitch, embossed Jaguar logos on the headrests and XJ50 emblems on the center armrest.
The novelty is offered both usual, and with the extended wheelbase. The sedan can be ordered with a 340-horsepower three-liter petrol engine or a 300-horsepower diesel engine.
In the UK Jaguar XJ50 costs from 74.2 thousand pounds sterling
The first sedan of the British brand named XJ appeared in 1968. Soon it became the world’s first serial four-door with a 12-cylinder engine. The car could pick up 225 kilometers per hour – faster than any other sedans of that time.
