Italian police transplanted to MitsubishiNovember 24, 2018
Italian police transplanted to Mitsubishi crossovers. And more specifically, the carabinieri of Milan and Rome will use the new compact crossovers Eclipse Cross.
In Italy, the police car fleet continues to be updated, and Mitsubishi models are used as official vehicles – first, the Pajero SUV was put under the gun, and now the new Eclipse Cross crossovers.
Immediately a couple of new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross was transferred to the carabinieri of Rome and Milan. In these cities, cars will be used to patrol and transport donated organs and blood.
Since the crossovers became official cars, the cars painted in the livery of the carabinieri, installed flashing beacons on the roof and in front of the body. Both models are equipped with all-wheel drive and a 163-horsepower gasoline 1.5-liter turbo engine in combination with a variator and S-AWC brand all-wheel drive.
Before getting the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, we recall, the Italian police immediately acquired 19 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs, and not simple ones, but with an armored body.
