Italdesign Nissan GT-R50 or supercar version for 990,000 eurosMay 20, 2020
In just 40 minutes, the online presentation of the iconic Japanese supercar Nissan GT-R will take place in a version from the Italian studio Italdesign. The novelty received the designation Nissan GT-R50.
It was back in June 2018 when Nissan introduced the Italdesign GT-R50, but it was just a prototype of an exclusive supercar. Although the serial version of the car debuted in December last year, only now we are going to see the serial version of the novelty. We should have seen the debut of this car at the Geneva Motor Show, but, like in many other events around the world, this event was canceled due to the coronavirus.
Model Nissan GT-R50, developed by Italdesign and modernized by the specialists of the court tuning studio at Nissan Nismo, will be released in a limited edition of 50 copies.
According to the creators of this exclusive car, the car belongs to the line of Godzilla R35. The car costs from 990 000 euros. In addition to a radically changed style, the supercar received an updated version of the 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6, which now produces an impressive 710 horsepower (780 Nm).
In addition to the new design and improved engine, the Nissan GT-R, modified by Italdesign, has undergone additional changes compared to the regular version of the iconic supercar. For example, the sequential six-speed dual-clutch gearbox was reinforced to cope with extra power, while the suspension was adjusted using Bilstein shock absorbers. The Brembo system, which is hidden behind these 21-inch wheels, is responsible for braking performance.
