It became known which supercars “google” most often in the worldFebruary 28, 2019
If you think that celebrity degree is measured by the largest number of search engine queries, then it is quite simple to determine the most popular supercar in the world in 2019.
Internet resource Veygo checked all models of supercars released in the last 10 years, and checked all their names using the keyword search tool. The model that came out on top in 95 out of 169 countries was quite unexpected – the Audi R8, which outpaced the Bugatti Chiron and Lamborghini Aventador.
R8 collected a total of 939,870 searches, while Bugatti Chiron, which finished second, only 701,140. By the way, it was the French supercar that became the most popular in Russia.
As for other models, the ranking of the leaders in search engines looks like this: Lamborghini Aventador (562,770 requests), Bugatti Veyron (443 410 requests), Lamborghini Huracan (384 270 requests), Lamborghini Veneno (371 570 requests), McLaren 675LT (368 810 queries), Ford GT (313 380 queries) and Ferrari 455 (256,590 queries).
Interestingly, all the most popular models belong to one concern of the VW Group, with the exception of a few cars that close the top 10 – such as the McLaren 675LT, Ford GT and Ferrari 455.
