Isuzu eight-wheel pickup with V8 engineOctober 30, 2018
Isuzu LS SpaceCab is equipped with air suspension and two TVs.
On the YouTube-channel Barcroft Cars a video appeared with a story about an eight-wheeled pickup truck, built on the 1989 Isuzu LS SpaceCab base. Owner Steve Francis has altered almost the entire car: he lowered the suspension, installed suicidal doors and a V8 Chevrolet tar-block.
Building a unique pickup took Steve 20 years. The car was equipped with a suspension lowered by 89 millimeters, 20-inch wheels, pneumatic supports in a circle and side mirrors from a motorcycle. The engine (its power is not specified) and the transmission was borrowed from a 1978 Chevrolet pickup.
The total length of the machine was 6.4 meters. In a stretched body, Steve placed two 32-inch TVs. The back of the cab has become a podium for the speakers of the audio system.
Last year, students of the Japanese school of automotive technology NATS built a six-wheeled Gelentwagen of two Suzuki Jimny. The car retained four-wheel drive, but on four wheels, and an engine of 657 cubic centimeters.
