Isuzu announced the release of competitor Renault Duster and Hyundai CretaOctober 30, 2018
The model does not even have a name yet, but it has very ambitious plans to conquer the SUV market.
The Japanese company Isuzu, specializing in the production of heavy commercial vehicles, plans to develop the SUV market. Indian media reported that the automaker is going to launch its new global model – a compact SUV. The future SUV, the work on which has just begun, will seriously compete with the popular “state employees” – Renault Duster and Hyundai Creta.
The novelty will be the third civil car in the model lineup of the brand. Prior to this, only two cars “diluted” the rows of trucks and buses – the D-Max pickup and the MU-X SUV.
There is no additional information about the new Isuzu SUV. The manufacturer keeps secret even the name of the model, as well as the approximate date of its debut. At the same time, experts, given the history of the creation of the D-Max and MU-X, do not exclude that General Motors will also take part in the development of the new SUV. Recall, the “donor” for the pickup from Isuzu was the Chevrolet Colorado, and the SUV is based on the Chevrolet Trailblazer.
Earlier it was reported that next year KIA will present its new crossover called Tusker.
