Renault Corporation has demonstrated the restyled Talisman, which brand dealers in Europe will receive in June this year. The model survived an intermediate update, acquired an expanded set of equipment, a second-level autopilot and a new three cylinder turbo-engine.
Novelty received other grille and front bumper. Optics has LED elements, and matrix headlights are offered optionally. Also, the updated Talisman has a digital dashboard of 10.2 inches and a multimedia complex Easy Link with a 9.3-inch display, which, in turn, supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The list of equipment included a second-level autopilot: it is able to take control at speeds up to 160 km / h, independently accelerate and slow down to a complete stop. At the same time, Talisman is the only model in the segment that has a 4Control fully-controlled chassis as standard. In addition, the car is equipped with adaptive shock absorbers.
Regarding the engine range, it consists of a 3-cylinder 160-horsepower 1.3-liter turbo engine with a performance. In conjunction with it operates a 7-band robotic transmission with dual clutch. In addition, the previous 1.8-liter engine with 225 hp is offered.
The diesel range includes a 4-cylinder 1.7-liter engine with a return of 120 or 150 hp. (depending on the market) and is combined with a 6-speed manual transmission.
Talisman is still equipped with a 2.0 Blue dCi powerplant in two power options: 160 or 200 hp. Paired with it is a 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
