Introduced the updated Jaguar F-Pace SVR
December 2, 2020Jaguar revealed the updated crossover F-Pace SVR.
The novelty continues to be powered by a 5.0-liter V8 turbocharged engine producing 550 hp. and 700 Nm of torque (previously it was 680 Nm). Together with the engine, an 8-speed automatic transmission functions.
Thanks to the new Dynamic Launch function, the cross can accelerate to 96 km / h in just 3.8 seconds (up from 4.1 seconds). The maximum speed has increased by 4 km / h – from 283 to 287 km / h. In addition, the novelty has received power steering with special settings, brakes with new pads and an adaptive damping system, which ensures a smooth ride at low speeds.
Exterior changes to the model were limited to narrower headlamps and a new front end trim. At the same time, the cooling system of the engine and brakes has been improved. In turn, in the cabin it is worth noting the appearance of a multimedia system with an 11.4-inch screen and the possibility of updating “by air”, a different gear lever, a steering wheel with a zinc alloy finish and a 12.3-inch dashboard.
The cost of the updated F-Pace SVR is currently not disclosed. At the same time, the outgoing model is offered at a price of $ 80,600.
In addition, some time ago it was reported that the British company Jaguar may be left without several models. It should be emphasized that this is how the brand wants to seriously save money and put things in order in the model line.
