Introduced Lamborghini Diablo model year 2021July 9, 2020
A video appeared on the Sketch Monkey YouTube channel that shows the process of changing the look of the Italian supercar Lamborghini Diablo.
For some supercar fans, the last real Lamborghini was Diablo. The supercar was positioned by the automaker itself as the true receiver of the legendary Countach model and, according to the general opinion of automobile critics, in terms of performance, this is exactly so. But what will the modern version of Diablo look like? The talented designer Sketch Monkey is trying to answer this question.
The artist decided to focus on modernizing the appearance of the rear of the supercar from Lambo.
In general, the curved lines of the original Diablo look very good even now, compared to the same Countach, but the round taillights look hopelessly outdated. Thus, most of the work of the artists was centered around remodeling the tail lights of the supercar to make them look as modern as possible. This requires a redesign of the entire rear bumper.
Massive rear diffusers are an indispensable aspect of all modern supercars, so the modern version of Diablo simply had to get this exterior detail. It is worth noting that the original Diablo had a very sticky rear bumper of a bizarre shape. In addition, the exhaust pipe moved up to the center.
Minor changes were made to the profile of the Italian supercar to emphasize the chunky new rear bumper; otherwise, most of the car remains unchanged. This render shows how the styling of Lamborghini cars has not changed much over the past 20 years.
